2026 Mini Sessions In Portland – More Details & Sample Photos

Is 10 Minutes Enough Time?

In almost all cases… Yes! Typically within 10 minutes, I am able to get a variety of poses and groupings. I work very quickly and spontaneously and love capturing candid moments with movement. Within 10 minutes I normally have 30-60 final images to show. These would include a couple of options of the entire family, as well as the kids together, just the parents, kids with mom, kids with dad, and also each kid individually.

If we have a very shy child who just wants to hide behind mom or dad, or if we have an otherwise outgoing toddler who might just be having an extra bad grumpy day, we may not be able to work quite as quickly through all of the variations, but I promise we’ll still get some wonderful images. If you think this could be your kid, I might suggest my regular half-hour session, which gives us extra time to get the kid/s comfortable.
