These bride and groom photos at Jupiter Hotel are so vibrant and fun. The hotel, which is next to Doug Fir lounge on E Burnside, is a great location for getting ready before the wedding. The hotel also happens to be a wedding venue!
Bride and Groom Photos at Jupiter Hotel
This couple got married nearby at The Laurelhurst Club, but needed a convenient and fun getting ready location. Therefore, the Jupiter Hotel was perfect! I love that the rooms are painted such vibrant yellow! The bride and bridemaids got ready in one room, and the groom and groomsmen got ready in another. I took some photos of the bride’s dress and her bouquet around the hotel.
After everyone was ready, the bride and groom had their first look under the wedding tent. The wedding tent has great natural light and everything is white, which really makes all other colors pop! Next, we walked around the venue as well as around the block for some portraits of the two of them. The street was full of autumn leaves, which added to the vibrant color theme of the day.
Finally, we met back up with the entire wedding party and found some fun and colorful murals around the neighborhood. Of course, I could never get enough color!
Wedding At The Laurelhurst Club
Next, we headed to The Laurelhurst Club for their wedding and reception. The club is across the street from Laurelhurst Park. It’s a great location for an autumn wedding. In fact, it has the feel of a cabin in the woods. The decor consisted of burgundy, red and pink flowers. Wine bottles wrapped in twine were used as vases. In addition, jars wrapped in lace and burlap were used as vases as well. Wood rounds added height to the centerpieces. The burgundy and burlap theme made a very cohesive look.
The couple married on the stage and afterwards we walked across the street to Laurelhurst Park for more photos of the couple. Although we took many photos before the ceremony, the couple wanted to take some underneath the autumn foliage in the park. The trees were vibrant yellow! It was very pretty. We walked around the lake, which was quiet and peaceful before sunset.
I had them lounge on one of the park benches, and the bride’s eyes were such a vibrant green! One of my all time favorite photos! This couple is so adorable together! After portraits, we returned to the reception. The couple had their first dance under twinkle lights. I always recommend twinkle lights to add depth and sparkle to your reception photos. They add just the right amount of light and romantic mood. Their first dance photos are so pretty!
