This farm wedding in Canby Oregon, photographed by one of my fab associates, was just gorgeous! I love this venue, Lavender Owl Farm. There is so much variety for backdrops, and since it used to be a tree nursery, there are so many different kinds of trees in all different colors. Plus, there are always chickens running around and who doesn’t like that?!

This day started with a few photos of the bride getting into her dress, before heading outside for a first look. Then they walked all around the property for some really sweet couples photos. The bride looked just stunning! She used one of my favorite makeup artists Ashley, of Style Me PDX, who always does a great job.

Afterwards it was time for the ceremony. One more great thing about this venue is that one of the owners is also an officiant. The ceremony was so sweet and was attended by a very intimate group of only the couple’s closest friends and family. There were some funny moments with the chickens during the ceremony. One walked over the bride’s train, as you can see in the photos below!

After the ceremony, it was time for some family photos with the couple’s parents and also with their children. Then everyone headed to the barn to sign the marriage license and then it was time for the celebration!
