Welcome to the first of many to come CGP Playlist s! I’ve been wanting to do this for a while, so I finally am. Between Brandon and myself, we currently have about (exactly) 699 records, and we spend many free days perusing local vinyl shops. I was originally making a playlist of just random things I was editing to this month, but I changed it up. I thought starting with an overview of some of my all time favorite songs and artists would be the best way to go as an introduction. You will often find these artists playing while I edit photos.
Speaking of music, we went to Polaris Hall for a show last night. Shana Cleveland, of La Luz (see playlist), was touring. We were doubly excited when we saw that Michael Hurley would be opening for her, but unfortunately he did not show up. So sad :*( But it was a good show, and I’m even wearing a fun Shana Cleveland t-shirt I picked up last night, as I type.
If you love music AND you’re getting married, you should check out Polaris Hall! It’s actually a wedding venue as well! I’ve photographed one wedding there and have seen 2 shows there. It’s awesome!
