I headed down to Canby for this Lavender Owl Farm Wedding last month. Every time I’ve photographed here, I thoroughly enjoyed the venue. Not only does the large farm embody everything you would expect from a rustic setting, but it also offers a unique and upscale experience.

Lavender Owl Farm Wedding

This couple chose to have an outdoor ceremony, which, as we all know in Oregon, always comes with the possibility of rain. Fortunately, the weather held off during the ceremony; however, we did experience a downpour right afterward. Nevertheless, everyone from the Pacific Northwest knows that these downpours often lead to the most beautiful sunsets. As a result, we were treated to a stunning display of colors. Additionally, this couple had one specific request, which included using a sword for at least one of their portraits. I absolutely love it when my couples bring their unique ideas! And I was so glad the weather ended up cooperating for these special moments.

As for the details, the bride and groom selected a beautiful color palette of purples and greens. Moreover, their bridal party sported mismatched outfits, which added a fun and playful touch to the day! The bride wore a stunning dress adorned with a celestial pattern, while the groom opted for a non-traditional green suit. Together, they complemented each other beautifully.

DIY projects are one of the best ways for couples to express their personalities on their special day. In this case, the couple hand-folded 1,000 origami cranes to create a mobile over their sweetheart table. This stunning installation served as a beautiful focal point for their reception decor.
