This intimate Mexiruvian wedding in Oregon was so special and had such classic details.  Their day was photographed by one of my talented associate photographers at one of my favorite venues!  Although I didn’t cover the wedding day, I had the pleasure of photographing their engagement session and I loved getting to spend the day with them.  They are so much fun, and very much in love, and I knew their wedding was going to be great.  I’m so excited to share these images!

Weddings on the Hill Venue

I just love this venue, located in West Linn, Oregon.  It has great indoor and outdoor options for backdrops and for all the wedding activities.  The bride and party got ready in the newly updated basement suite in the venue. And the groom and party got ready upstairs.  After they got ready it was time for the ceremony in the backyard!  There were so many adorable kids running around at this wedding, including the couple’s 2 year old son.  They all had so much energy and personality and were fun to photograph.

These two have roots in the Portland area now but are originally from Mexico and Peru.  When I asked the bride if they had any special wedding hashtags, she mentioned #mexiruvian… hence the title of this post!  They met during a big family party, and have been inseparable ever since.  

After the ceremony, portraits were made of the couple, wedding party, and family.  The dessert table was quite impressive.  There was a lovely cake surrounded by a variety of miniature desserts.  They all looked too picturesque to eat!  After toasts the party started!  Everyone headed back outside, where there was lots of dancing to ensue!
