This micro zoom wedding at Portland’s White House was the cutest wedding of the year! This adorable couple met at church one day when she decided to sit in a new seat. It just so happened to be his preferred seat. When Covid happened they decided to move in together. They got along smashingly living together, so here we are, on their wedding day 🙂
Micro Zoom Wedding at Portland’s White House
Portland’s White House is one of my favorite venues in Portland. It is a gorgeous mansion B&B in the Irvington neighborhood, off NE Broadway. A hidden magical gem. And I love the innkeepers, Carol & Brian. Carol is also a professional florist, which is how we originally met. Not only is she the sweetest hostess with lots of wedding experience, but her floral work is amazing! You can’t go wrong choosing this venue for your micro or zoom wedding.
They offer zoom capabilities, which is what this couple opted for. They had over 150 guests logged in watching the day unfold. Some of my favorite images from this day are of the bride seeing all the guests for the first time, and learning that some of them were tuning in from as far as New Zealand. Her expressions were priceless and her excitement and happiness was palpable.
It was such a beautiful day. We started the morning on the upstairs balcony with hair and makeup by Tracy Does Makeup. Guests started arriving and had champagne and nibbles in the foyer and parlor areas. They had special masks made that said their names and wedding date. So cute! Once the bride was ready, she met her groom in the courtyard and we explored the venue for some couples portraits. Then it was time for the ceremony in the courtyard. After their first kiss they sang a song together which was very special. Then everyone celebrated with more champagne and delicious cake from Helen Bernhard Bakery. Perfect day!
