This Moonlight Events wedding in Vancouver, Washington was elegant, emotional, and full of personality. I had been looking forward to it since photographing their engagement session last winter. That session took us across four locations, including a basketball court to celebrate Leslie’s time in the WNBA. From the very start, I knew this love story was something special.

Their wedding day felt timeless but still completely their own. Every moment reflected who they are together — strong, playful, and deeply connected. Both brides looked incredible in their outfits, each detail perfectly chosen. Leslie even surprised everyone by changing from one perfect pair of shoes into another even more stunning pair for the reception.

The energy between them was infectious. I loved how much their families and friends mirrored their joy all day long. Every smile, every laugh, every tear was filled with genuine love. Their connection was impossible not to feel.

A Love Story Written in Fate

Their story began with a DM, but the way it unfolded felt meant to be. The ceremony, led by Empress Edwards, was heartfelt and full of emotion. The space at Moonlight Events was glowing with beautiful florals from Wildflower Florals and warm candlelight.

After the ceremony, everyone celebrated with amazing food from Ristorante Di Pompello and sweets from Fat Cupcake. The dance floor came alive with music from Joseph Blake, and the night ended surrounded by laughter, love, and a whole lot of sparkle.
