So excited to be back at one of my favorite Troutdale Oregon Wedding venues so soon!  The Troutdale House is such a delightful space, with so much variety, especially for indoor options.  And since this wedding was during our extreme July heat wave, we definitely spent as much time inside as possible!

Troutdale Oregon Wedding Venue

This adorable couple have known each other since grade school!  Although life brought them together again years later, the groom admits he was always in love with her.  I love that they included their dog in their big day.  I photographed their engagement session a couple of months ago and got to meet their sweet pup then as well!  

The bridal getting ready attic suite is such a great eclectic space for getting ready portraits.  I love all the curtains and antique furniture and details.  I could never get bored photographing up there!  The bride got ready with the help of her maid of honor.  However, she wanted to have a first look with all her other bridesmaids, so she hid away until everyone was ready for the big reveal!  It was such a cute moment!  

The groomsmen got ready in the basement, which is equally eclectic, with quirky and fun details, like a vintage car bumper bar, and a life-size Marilyn Monroe cut out. 

Ceremony in the Wisteria Courtyard

Everyone braved the heat for the picturesque ceremony in the wisteria courtyard.  I love that this venue has an outdoor ceremony space that is completely shielded from rain and direct sun.  It can even be heated on colder days.  Even though the Wisteria only blooms for a short period each Spring, the leafy vines overhead and natural light always looks magical. 

After the ceremony, everyone headed inside for cocktail hour while the couple and family stayed outside for portraits.  It was a very intimate affair, with only their closest friends and family.  The groom’s son unfortunately couldn’t attend in person, but he was able to FaceTime in for a long portion of the reception.  Everyone was taking turns saying hello and chatting with him which was sweet.
