This wedding at Coopers Hall was a blast! Coopers Hall is such a great urban venue right in central SE Portland. We started the day at Hotel Lucia in downtown Portland. We took some portraits around the Park Blocks, and then headed across the river for the festivities!
Coopers Hall is a winery and taproom that focuses on keg production. They have 44 taps of wine, beer, and cider, but most of those feature wine. The space can accommodate up to 225 guests. Although it’s a very open and industrial space, it still manages to be a very warm and inviting atmosphere. There are wine barrels surrounding two sides of the space, tons of large windows, and high ceilings. I love how easy it is to incorporate hanging greenery and floral over the main seating and ceremony areas! They also have a mezzanine that is a great space for other wedding activities.
This couple had their first look in the lobby of Hotel Lucia, a colorful area full of fun artwork. Afterwards we headed to the Park Blocks for portraits with their wedding party. These bridemaids dresses were some of my favorite ever. So fun and floral. And speaking of floral, their hoop wreath bouquets were so unique! We also did a few photos of the couple around the Portland Art Museum and the theater district. So many great backdrops!
Winery Ceremony
The couple were married in front of the venue’s large windows, and framed by rows of wine barrels. Lots of hanging plants, and flowers on their arbor as well as draping from the ceiling made it feel very lush. It was like being married in an indoor garden!
Their reception decor consisted of lots of golds and ambers, which warmed up the space even more! There were so many personal touches. Including donuts from Pips for all the guests. They even had a photo booth VW bus, which everyone loved!
