I first met with this couple only 2 months before their wedding.  These cuties were a couple for six years, so when they got engaged, they decided on a short engagement.  Even with only a few months to plan, I could tell that the details for a thoughtful wedding were in good hands.  They planned for a wedding at Laurel Ridge Winery.

These two have a great style! I was super excited to see it all come together!

They were married at LAUREL RIDGE WINERY just an hour from Portland. The venue is located in Carlton, part of Oregon wine country.  Laurel Ridge Winery has a large lawn that overlooks the farms and valley. It also boasts a fully furnished tasting room, as well as a covered outdoor patio. I always love an outdoor dinner space!

The bride’s dress was definitely one of my all time favorites. I just loved those ruffles! The venue’s bridal suite was very pretty, and had great purple walls. My favorite color!

RAINY WEDDING DAY

It started raining during their first look and portraits, but they weren’t too worried about it! The bride’s brother ran around with an umbrella to try to protect them, but they were okay getting a little wet. I loved the wide open fields around the venue. And what often comes with rain during the daytime? Rainbows! We were extra lucky and had a double rainbow make an appearance! It was so magical.

Their ceremony was outdoors overlooking the hills at sunset…. so gorgeous! The bride was prepared for rain with the prettiest ruffled white umbrellas for all the guests. It was perfect and looked like a fairy tale. This was definitely one of my all time favorite rainy day weddings I’ve ever photographed. And all the rain clouds created the most vibrant orange sunset.
