I loved photographing this wedding at The Loft at The Red Building in Astoria, Oregon. This was my last wedding of 2022, and it couldn’t have been a prettier day! November weather can really go either way, probably more often than not, it is gray and rainy, especially at the coast. Just a beautiful blue sky for this beautiful couple!

Wedding at The Loft at The Red Building

This was my first time photographing a wedding at this venue, and it was so perfect for an indoor Fall/Winter wedding with a view, in a pretty location. It sits right on the water, basically underneath the bridge. It is also conveniently located near the end of the trolley line, so guests can easily catch a ride from other areas of the waterfront. The couple got ready at the hotel next door, also super convenient!

I started the day with a few quick getting ready photos, and then we headed outside for their first look with each other. Afterwards, we walked around the waterfront for some couples portraits. Then we did a bunch of family photos outside of the hotel before heading to the venue for the ceremony.

Fall Wedding in Astoria

The ceremony began just as the sun was starting to set. It made the venue feel cozy and romantic. But the energy was vibrant and celebratory all around! The couple’s vows were especially heartfelt and peppered with a perfect amount of humor, which had the crowd cracking up and crying all at the same time!

Afterwards the party began! The couple had me stay through cocktail hour, and I loved photographing all the guests mingling and laughing with each other.
