This couple lived directly across the street from me when I lived in Charlotte, and I never knew them! My entire neighborhood was actually at this wedding at The Isles Club and I finally got to meet them all!
Wedding At The Isles Club
The day started with the bride and bridesmaids getting ready in a beautiful beach house. A great thing about most beach houses, is the amazing natural light. Afterwards we walked down to the pier for wedding party photos along the beach. The girls wore red heart sunglasses which was so cute. In addition, the red was a great contrast to their navy blue dresses.
The ceremony was held on the beach, in front of a lovely wedding arbor draped with white fabric. Moreover, the arbor was made from bamboo, which makes it an affordable and easy diy project. Not to mention, it’s very lightweight! After the ceremony, we took some more portraits on the beach, and then moved indoors for the reception.
The Isles Club has plenty of large windows, therefore the natural light was perfect indoors. The sea inspired details were the perfect touch. There were lanterns sitting on each table, which were covered in seashells, starfish, and sand dollars. The lanterns sat on top of fishing netting. One of my favorite parts of the evening happened when all the guests surprised the couple by singing to them in a flash mob style.
