Weddings at Abbey Road Farm are always gorgeous. This is one of those venues that instantly feels like something special. Tucked into the hills of Oregon wine country in Carlton, it offers 82 acres of vineyards, gardens, wide open skies, and yes, even some of the friendliest farm animals you’ll ever meet. It’s a working farm, a winery, a tasting room, and a bed and breakfast all in one, which means your guests will love it just as much as you will.

This place checks so many boxes for both couples and photographers. The main event space is a beautifully renovated horse arena with tons of character and incredible light, making it a perfect indoor option year-round. Outside, there’s a lush turf lawn surrounded by sweeping vineyard views that feels straight out of a European countryside dream. The getting ready suites are stylish and full of natural light, and the layout flows easily between indoor and outdoor spaces. The team here is warm, attentive, and truly focused on making each wedding feel personal and seamless.

For this shoot, Elle from Elle Beauty & Events planned an intimate wedding setup that embraced the gorgeous view from the covered tasting room patio. Her vision brought in rich jewel tones and a warm, welcoming atmosphere that felt both elevated and relaxed. Even though the setting leans rustic, she created a look that felt refined, cozy, and timeless.

One of the highlights of the day was the lineup of creative culinary experiences. We had a custom cocktail bar featuring Freeland Spirits, a woman-owned Portland distillery known for their handcrafted gins and mixers. Since Elle also runs a bartending company, she brought in one of her talented team members to keep the cocktails flowing.
Crepe World brought their charming mobile crepe cart and served up both sweet and savory handheld treats that were almost too pretty to eat. Their attention to presentation made them perfect for a stylish event like this. 1927 S’mores Company brought the fun with gourmet s’mores, including vegan and gluten-free options, toasted fresh right on site.
Cascadia Kitchen designed the most beautiful cake with hand-painted floral details that matched the overall color palette perfectly. It looked stunning on the indoor bar and even more magical once we moved it outside to catch the last light of the day.

The farm’s own rustic wood tables were used to anchor the reception and sweetheart setups. Velvet and wicker chairs from Power of Love Rentals added warmth and texture, along with their curated tableware and bronze candlesticks.
Jeremi from Pollinate Flowers absolutely nailed the floral vision. He created a suspended ceremony installation that doubled as a focal point above the sweetheart table. He also added a floral cascade at the end of the reception table, with individual bud vases placed among the candles for a playful, romantic touch.
Oblation Papers & Press designed the invitation suite. This Portland letterpress studio has been around for over two decades and handcrafts their paper in-house. Their work added a perfect artisan detail to the flatlays.

The groom’s look came from House of Rose, a couture shop in Lake Oswego that specializes in custom-tailored suits and formalwear. Their fast turnaround and flawless tailoring always impress me. Crown Bridal in Vancouver provided the bridal gown and bridesmaid attire. They’re known for taking care of their brides from the first fitting through the final details.
Hair and makeup were done by Tracy Does Makeup, who is always a joy to work with. Tracy brings fashion industry experience and knows exactly how to create looks that photograph beautifully in every lighting condition. She’s also incredibly calming and encouraging, which makes a huge difference during the getting ready process.
