Weddings at Arc Light are always a hit plus it is one of my favorite hidden gems in Oregon City. Originally built in 1922, this historic ballroom has been beautifully reimagined into a stylish and versatile venue. The space includes a grand ballroom, cocktail lounge, two fully furnished getting ready suites, and some of the prettiest restrooms I’ve ever seen. Even though it’s an indoor venue, it is filled with natural light thanks to the massive windows and high ceilings. Every room feels bright and welcoming, with a clean, elegant vibe that’s perfect for a modern wedding.

This venue is such a dream to shoot in. The light is soft and flattering in every room, the furniture is thoughtfully curated, and the layout works beautifully for both intimate and larger events. The design feels refined but not stuffy, and the mix of vintage charm and modern finishes makes for an incredibly photogenic backdrop. Whether you’re hosting a seated dinner for 160 or a cocktail-style celebration with 200 guests, the space flows effortlessly and always feels warm and inviting.

Alana from Flowers by Alana led the design for this shoot with a theme she called “Sunlight in Spring.” She wanted to fill the space with soft pastel tones, cherry blossom branches, and warm, golden light. The result was a bright and cheerful setup that celebrated the season. Even though we were indoors the entire time, the sunshine pouring through the windows made it feel like we were in a garden greenhouse.

Sloshy Pops brought a burst of fun with their tropical boozy popsicles, which were almost too cute to eat. The Hive, Arc Light’s in-house caterer, created a gorgeous raw seafood bar featuring oysters, crab, and shrimp. They also served colorful spring cocktails that matched the floral palette. Sugarhouse Cakes designed a showstopping three-tiered cake decorated with delicate cherry blossom details. It was a perfect mix of pretty and playful.

Krystle Clear Events helped bring everything together and made sure the entire day ran smoothly. The venue provided their lovely tables and wicker-backed chairs, which gave the whole event a chic and cohesive look. Setting the Table Rentals brought in the tabletop details, including place settings, servingware, and candle holders that tied the design together beautifully.
Trellis Creative designed all of the signage and stationery, using pastel hues and playful shapes to reflect the sunny, floral vibe. From acrylic signs to printed menus, every detail felt thoughtful and on-theme.

Ashley from Style Me PDX handled hair and makeup and created a glowing, romantic look for our bride. She’s been building her team since 2015 and brings such a calm, empowering presence to every shoot. The gown was provided by True Society by The White Dress in Beaverton. They loaned us a beautiful Stella York dress (style 7644), which fit the setting perfectly with its soft fabric and timeless silhouette.
The jewelry was designed by Rose Gem Shop and featured Oregon Sunstone, a soft pink gemstone with golden undertones that looked stunning against the pastel color palette. Brian, the designer, even mines the stones himself and shares the story behind each one.
