A couple weeks ago, I was back at one of my favorite venues for this World Forestry Center Wedding. This venue is located in Washington park amongst the trees that the pacific northwest is famous for.

World Forestry Center Wedding

I loved everything about this couple and their wedding! Their love shone through all day, and they are just so sweet to each other. All of their friends and family were also big huggers, which is always great for lots of intimate candid moments in photos!

One of my favorite wedding planners, Nicole Issler Events, helped pull the day together, and she did a fantastic job as always! And so much fun to work with!

This couple had my favorite kind of decor, the most colorful vibrant and natural kind! From the florals to the cocktails, everything said bright summer wedding, perfect for the last weekend in July! I seriously could have photographed this sweet couple and the gorgeous bouquet for another 5 hours at least. One interesting this about the florist is that she only takes on a few couples a year. She finds out their dream florals, and grows all of the flowers herself, keeping the couple updated on their progress throughout the year. Talk about personalized service! The groom had a pocket square boutonnière which is a newer trend in florals that not only looks great but makes putting on the boutonnière much easier.

The Reception Details

The reception space at the World Forestry Center has natural wood panelling to bring the outside in. This couple also decided to bring in tree cut out rounds. In addition to florals in bud vases, they painted table numbers on the wood rounds for their centerpieces, to continue the natural theme throughout. They also brought in cafe string lights to make the space feel even more open and inviting.
