It’s finally time to announce my 2024 mini-sessions in Portland! I have a ton of old favorites planned for this year, as well as a few new ones that I’m really excited about! Is 10 Minutes Enough Time?

In almost all cases… Yes! Typically within 10 minutes, I am able to get a variety of poses and groupings. I work very quickly and spontaneously and love capturing candid moments with movement. Within 10 minutes I normally have 30-60 final images to show. These would include a couple of options of the entire family, as well as the kids together, just the parents, kids with mom, kids with dad, and also each kid individually.

The only times I’ve ever had any problem with needing more than 10 minutes is if we have a very shy child who just wants to hide behind mom or dad, or if you have an otherwise outgoing toddler who might just be having an extra bad grumpy day. If you think this could be you, I would suggest my regular half-hour session, which gives us extra time to get the kid/s comfortable.
