This beautiful bride wanted to take autumn wedding portraits at Pittock Mansion. The portraits were a ten year anniversary gift to her husband. She stated that she always regretted never taking bridal portraits the year that they wed. And what better time for portraits at Pittock Mansion than in the fall?!
Autumn Wedding Portraits at Pittock Mansion
The foliage at Pittock Mansion was at it’s peak autumn colors on the day of our session. Bright yellow, red, and orange leaves were abundant in almost all of the trees.
From Pittock Mansion’s website, “Built in 1914, Pittock Mansion tells the story of Portland’s transformation from pioneer town to modern, industrialized city through the history and legacy of one its most influential families, the Pittocks. Saved from demolition by dedicated citizens in 1964, the Mansion and surrounding estate was purchased by the City of Portland and opened to the public as a historic house museum.” Although they do not offer facility rental for weddings, but photography is allowed with a permit.
