This was such a romantic and rustic Tin Roof Barn wedding. I love this venue in White Salmon Washington, overlooking the Columbia River Gorge. Evrim Icoz contracted me to photograph this wedding. He is another amazing wedding photographer in Portland! I can’t wait to work at this venue again!
Romantic And Rustic Tin Roof Barn Wedding
Seriously, this venue is gorgeous! We started in the farmhouse, and I photographed the bride getting ready, surrounded by her friends and family. The windows were all open, and the wind blew through the lace curtains. Afterwards the couple had their first look under the giant oak tree in the back yard. Then the groom’s daughter joined in for some portraits and we took the cutest images of her on the tree swing. Aren’t her green cowboy boots amazing?!
Next, we headed to the barn where I photographed the extended family as guests were arriving for the ceremony. The ceremony area was set up behind the barn, overlooking the fields and mountains. The colorful vintage runners that lined the aisle were a perfect touch. During the ceremony, the bride and groom presented his daughter with a necklace that symbolized their joining. It was so sweet and there were so many tears all around.
Perfect Reception Details
Ivory lace tablecloths covered the reception tables. Wildflowers and succulents filled clear and green jars and vases in a variety of sizes. Bottles of Pellegrino sparkling water sat atop each table. The main color scheme was green and ivory. In addition, vintage books and photographs filled antique cabinets. There were even antique china plates and cups for coffee and dessert. The couple gave guests crystals as wedding favors, which was unique and pretty. Although it was warm during the day, it was cold after the sunset. Therefore, blankets were available to keep guests cozy. There was also a fire pit to keep guests warm. To sum up, this was a fabulous event and beautiful venue.
