These two tied the knot at the Raleigh art museum, The North Carolina Museum of Art, one of my favorite wedding venues! I only met this couple briefly through Facetime a couple of months before their wedding date, so I was so excited to finally get to NC to meet them in person. They are so nice and sweet, and naturals in front of the camera. I could have photographed them all day! All of their friends and family were a pleasure to be around. You could feel the love all around throughout the whole day.
Tied The Knot At The Raleigh Art Museum
The Raleigh art museum is a great location for a wedding. From their website, “Crisp, modern white galleries, outdoor sculpture gardens, inventive cuisine, and attention to detail make the North Carolina Museum of Art the ideal location for your gatherings. Our goal is to share with you and your guests this cultural treasure coupled with impeccable service, food, and ambience, making your event one that surpasses your expectations.” We walked through the galleries for portraits with the art after the ceremony. The galleries, combined with the outdoor space and sculpture garden
Chinese Tea Ceremony
It was so much fun getting to document a day with several Chinese traditions as well… such as the tea ceremony, and a game that is played between the bride and groom and their wedding parties… where the bridesmaids have to put the guys through a challenge of sorts before the groom can come steal his bride away.
