As a photographer, I’ve had the privilege of capturing some of life’s most precious moments. And recently, I had the honor of photographing a wedding at Cape Horn Estate in Oregon. Sometimes I second shoot for other photographers. This was one of those times! I got to photograph this wedding with Jason Craig, owner of Steady State Studios.
The beauty of the estate was striking. The lush greenery, the rolling hills, and the breathtaking view of the Columbia River Gorge were simply awe-inspiring. I knew then that this wedding was going to be special, and I was excited to be a part of it.
The ceremony took place on a hilltop, overlooking the gorge mountains. The bride looked stunning in her ivory gown, and the groom was beaming with pride. As they exchanged their vows, I could feel the love and emotion in the air. It was truly a magical moment.
After the ceremony, we had the opportunity to take some photos around the estate. Everywhere I turned, there was a new and beautiful backdrop for the couple’s portraits. The gardens, the ceremony backdrop, and the rustic buildings all made for stunning photos.
Reception Overlooking the Gorge
As the night went on, the reception was held in the lawn as well as partly in a rustic building on the property where there was a bar. The decor was elegant and tasteful, and the food was delicious. The couple danced the night away, surrounded by their loved ones, and I was there to capture it all.
In the end, I was thrilled with how the photos turned out. The couple looked absolutely stunning in every shot, and the beauty of the estate only added to the magic of the day. It was an incredible experience, and one that I’ll never forget.
Overall, photographing a wedding at the Cape Horn Estate in Oregon was an unforgettable experience. The beauty of the location, the love between the couple, and the joy of the celebration all came together to create something truly special. As a photographer, I feel honored to have been a part of it all. Thanks Jason for inviting me to capture this couple’s day!
