This colorful wedding in West Linn, Oregon had so many lovely details! The wedding was at one of my favorite venues, Weddings On The Hill, just a short drive south of Portland.

If you’ve seen my website or blog, you know that I love photographing colorful weddings! And this wedding was not short on some fun details. The bride had a gorgeous colorful dress from Ava Laurenne Bride on the East Coast, and the flowers were in all of my favorite colors as well! On top of that, the dress and flowers complemented all the pink flowers blooming at the venue.

I started the day photographing the bride and groom getting ready, and then we did a first look and some portraits of the couple. Next I photographed the wedding party, and then it was time for the ceremony. The couple was married under the arbor in the garden. Guests threw rose petals after they were announced husband and wife. I always love a flower petal exit! Especially when there are plenty of flowers to toss in the air. It’s such a sweet moment! Afterward, we grabbed a few family photos during cocktail hour before the bride retreated for an outfit change. Her second dress for the reception was just as lovely as the first! The couple had a first dance, and then dinner was served. After a few heartfelt toasts, and the cake-cutting, they danced the night away!
