This was such a magical early morning elopement at Bridal Veil Falls. This adorable couple lives in NYC and dreamed of an intimate waterfall ceremony. With a little research, they were drawn to Bridal Veil Falls, and the plan was made! They originally planned to get married on their 10 year anniversary of dating, but alas, the pandemic threw a wrench in that plan! So, a year later, we finally met together at the trailhead for the big moment.
Elopement at Bridal Veil Falls
Bridal Veil is a beautiful waterfall, and its name makes it extra perfect for a wedding ceremony. Since it was a weekend in August, and the couple wanted to avoid crowds, we decided to start at 7am. Luckily we only encountered a few people on the trail the whole time we were there. These two wanted something very simple and private, so only had an officiant (Susie of Heartcrafted Ceremonies is the sweetest!), and myself as a witness. I brought along my partner to assist and to be their second witness! Neither of them like wearing rings, so they opted for a hand-tying ceremony instead of a ring exchange. The officiant stepped away to give them some privacy during their vows, and then afterward we took a ton of photos closer to the waterfall and along the path.
I LOVED the bride’s unique green dress. Green is both of their favorite colors, and she knew from the start that she wanted to wear a green dress. I loved the train and the flow of it!
I love all your wedding photos!!
