You guys! I still can’t get over how great this Leach Botanical Garden wedding was! This venue is in outer SE Portland and truly a hidden gem. It was my first time shooting at the venue, and I can’t wait to go back!
I loved all the vibrant color incorporated into this wedding. All of their details were beautiful. Anytime a bride wears turquoise shoes I know it’s a perfect photo match for me. The bride’s flower bouquet was so colorful and cheerful! It was made by New Seasons, which also happens to be my favorite grocery store haha.
These two were just glowing all day long. Their friends and family were the sweetest. At one point during the reception toasts, one of the little girls (who had made herself my new best friend) came up and held onto my arm while I was shooting, it was so adorable.
LEACH BOTANICAL GARDEN WEDDING
Their ceremony was officiated by a Buddhist priest and had a lot of special touches and traditions that I hadn’t seen before. One thing that I loved happened at the end of the ceremony. The priest had everyone stand up and hold hands, so that everyone present was holding hands with everyone else. It was so touching.
I also enjoyed their reception decor. They gave an air plant to each guest as a favor on their dinner plate. Each table had a postcard from a location the couple had traveled together. It was equally colorful and sentimental.
