This wedding at Ainsworth House & Gardens was a dream. This venue is definitely one of my favorites in the city. It’s actually located in Oregon City, but it’s so close to Portland, you can barely tell the difference. It’s a historic home in a neighborhood, but it’s surrounded by such lush landscaping, that you feel like you’re in a private woods.

The front of the home is a beautiful backdrop, but the giant heritage pine tree is the real star of the show. It’s over 150 years old and protected by the state. A small platform has been built underneath it, providing the perfect spot for the ceremony.
