Looking for venue and photography inspiration? Take a peek at my wedding photography (that was recorded by the guys offering Video production services Toronto) at The Griffin House and learn about the fabulous team of vendors that made it happen! This citrusy summer look was created for NW Wedding Underground! NwWU is a website I started last year to help couples find awesome venues and vendors in the area.
Located in Hood River, about an hour from Portland, this breathtaking location has both the scenery and space to accommodate up to 200 guests for your wedding. If the view alone doesn’t seal the deal, there are several options for areas along the property allowing guests plenty of places to explore and hold wedding events. The Grand Lodge is also located nearby to house your guests without having to travel too far.
We incorporated warm colors and citrus accents for a grand summertime feel. The most beautiful flowers adorned almost every shot I took. The views were honestly breathtaking and only got better as the sunsets.
Jamie Ta of Jamie Ta Creative was our event planner and designer. Jaime loves creating the perfect day, along with making it an energetic and stress-free planning process. She enjoys bringing beauty and uniqueness out of unexpected places. The details are very important to her!
Leah Kennedy, the owner of The Dream Co. provided the cake and dessert treats for this event. She even hand-painted the china plate pattern flawlessly onto the cake. Leah specializes in creating unique and personalized wedding cakes. Hand-making her tasty treats from scratch and local ingredients is important to her.
The stunning and colorful flowers in this photoshoot are provided by Angela Hoyt, owner of Bridge City Blooms! She prefers using local flowers whenever possible, and even grows most of what she uses for events! The flowers in this photoshoot are some of the freshest I have seen on set.
The invitation suite was created by Karin Webster with Blue Bonsai Printing. The invitations were clean and perfectly minimalistic. Karin enjoys being creative and helping couples create something that embodies them together and their unified ideas.
Brittany Hampton with Letters and Dust, hand painted the table names on the lemons on-site and the created the bar sign. She specialized in custom signs and stationery while focusing on creating solutions for couples to reduce waste in their wedding.
Hair and makeup for the bride and groom was done by Katya Lapierre. Katya offers high end makeup and hair artistry for weddings and photoshoots in Portland, Hood River, The Gorge and beyond. She believes in clear, eco-friendly beauty approach. She provides on-site services and strives for a stress-free experience for her clients.
A fun addition to the photoshoot is the mobile bar called the Swig Rig. Shirey Bukowski is the owner and provided the Swig Rig for us to use. Beyond alcohol, the Swig Rig can provide floats and esspresso as well. Shirey makes sure to go above and beyond to make sure your service is fun, memorable, and delicious!
Emma Rose is the goldsmith and owner of Emma Brooke Jewelry. She provided us with the beautiful jewelry included in the photoshoot. Emma specializes in creating responsible jewelry, with 100% recycled metals, ethically sourced stones, and eco-friendly studio practices!
The fruit and cheese board was made by Christina Gabor, owner of Portland Party Platters. The citrus and honey theme was perfect and everything tasted fresh and delicious.
The tables and chairs were provided by The Party Place. The table settings and beautiful china was borrowed from Setting the Table Rentals
Our bride model, Pauline, wears a beautiful sleek dress from Adorned in Grace. Adorned in Grace is Portland’s only non-profit bridal shop, sourcing dresses from all over the country.
Our videographer was Dane Casperson, of Casperson Productions. We have worked with him on a few projects now and he always does a great job with his projects! He is also really prompt with his editing so there isn’t a long wait to receive footage.

Hi !
My fiancé and I are planning an intimate wedding, with just us and our kids , so we will be less than 10 people .
Do you have intimate wedding or elopement packages available that include flowers and professional pictures of the event?
Our wedding date is 03-23-2023
Thank you in advance for your response,
Ben and Angela
