How would you like to be married by Bigfoot? Well, you can! You could also be married by The Dude, a Clone Trooper, or a Catholic Priest. Tucked away in a backyard oasis, Martha & Roger have built a beautiful tiny home AirBnb, complete with an elopement courtyard. And, it’s right in the heart of the Alberta Arts District! Roger himself is ordained to officiate your wedding, and he loves to do it dressed in character. Or he could just be himself if you’re not into those.
They have been renting out the Airbnb for a bit now, but more recently decided to start marketing it as a location for small Portland-esque elopements. I met up with them to brainstorm a styled shoot to show off the space. We had so much fun creating this shoot, and I hope I get to photograph a real wedding there sometime soon!
