This micro wedding at The Foundry at Oswego Pointe in Lake Oswego, was just the sweetest. It was classic, with touches of personality from the couple as well. This was my first time working at this venue, and I loved it so much! It is such a great space. I’d been looking forward to this wedding for so long! The couple is just the sweetest and were originally supposed to be married last year. And of course, I can’t fail to mention the bride’s gorgeous purple and pink hair! The whole wedding decor matched her hair, and anyone who has followed me knows these are my favorite two colors. I was stoked! Scroll below to see a preview of some of my favorite photos from the day!
Micro Wedding at The Foundry
I started this day meeting the bride in the bridal suite. It is a large open space with lots of mirrors and pretty furniture from Copper & Tweed. The ambiance was one of tranquility and anticipation, perfectly setting the stage for the bride’s preparations. Among the plush seating and delicate accents, I couldn’t help but notice the addition of luxurious pillows, strategically placed to offer both comfort and enhance the style of the furniture. These pillows, with their exquisite designs and sumptuous textures, added a touch of refinement to the already charming space, inviting moments of relaxation amidst the excitement of the day. The bride and her mom got ready together. And, before the bride changed into her wedding dress, both she and her mom put on traditional Vietnamese dresses for a couple of photos. My assistant and I bounced across the hall and also took a few photos of the groom putting on his tie and jacket.
The ceremony was outside on The Promenade, a circular riverside deck, built over the water! The pink and purple flowers added a perfect pop of color against the blue sky and water. After the ceremony, the reception was held in the great hall. The couple had gorgeous pipe and drape installed in a pillow design over the dance floor. It looked so elegant. One of my favorite personal touches was the game station. They had a Nintendo Switch as well as a table full of their favorite board games to keep guests entertained.
Also, be sure to leave the couple a comment on the bottom of this blog post and help them win some free prints! Want to see their engagement photos? Click here to take a peek at their engagement photos with the cherry blossoms.
