Every year I spend at least one evening taking Spring Family Photos at Crystal Springs Rhododendron Garden. Such a pretty and colorful city park! Unfortunately this year, the pandemic canceled Spring photos all together. However, I realized I never shared these images from last year’s mini session event. So, here you go!

My mini session events are typically scheduled to take place for 2 hours before sunset where the ip cameras come into play. Sessions are a quick and easy 10 minutes long, but everyone is always shocked at how much variety I’m able to capture in that amount of time! The rhododendron garden is my favorite in the springtime. Obviously, the rhododendrons are all in bloom that time of year! The whole park is just so full of colors and fresh blooms. And the duck pond is always a hit with the little ones.

Spring Family Photos in Portland

There are so many great parks in Portland for Spring family photos. The cherry blossom trees also bloom in Spring! Wouldn’t it be neat if trees were always pink?? I guess that would be like a Dr. Seuss world. I also love Spring photos because I get to see a lot of families that I haven’t seen since the previous Fall or Winter! It’s so much fun to see these families grow. It may not seem like they are growing much when you are around them day after day, but when I see them after just a few months, I’m often blown away by the changes. Time goes by so fast!
