This colorful Oregon Teardrop Trailer Pop-up Elopement styled shoot was so much fun to plan and photograph! Such cheerful summer colors and a free-spirited style that will have anyone begging for a fun road trip.

OREGON TEARDROP TRAILER POP-UP ELOPEMENT INSPIRATION

You don’t need a pandemic to inspire an elopement on the road. But since COVID19, couples everywhere are being forced to postpone their plans or come up with creative alternatives to a traditional wedding. Renting a teardrop trailer and having a small intimate celebration on the road may be extra appealing right now!

Oregon Teardrop Rentals have recently expanded their options to include a “wedding on wheels” package. They have partnered with several amazing wedding pros to provide everything from the teardrop trailer to the flowers and cake, and even the photography (by me!).

I am so excited to be a part of this new venture. I not only love road trips, but I love the style of the fun and colorful teardrops! This was a perfect match.

YELLOW PINK AND BLUE WEDDING

When brainstorming what the shoot should look like, I latched onto the yellow teardrop for inspiration. By the way, the yellow teardrop’s name is Margot. They also have a pretty forest green teardrop in the fleet named Aspynn.

I envisioned Aspynn to be in a forest (naturally!). But Margot I envisioned in a grassy, summery field where a barefooted bride wouldn’t look out of place. Vibrant pinks and blues and oranges also make me think of Summer, so that is how our color palette was born.

Flowers by Alana designed the gorgeous floral arrangements. Seriously, she’s one of the best and so much fun to work with! We first worked together last year on a wedding I photographed at Cooper Spur Mountain Resort. We worked together again in February at Urban Studio.

And can we talk about the cake? Those flowers are all made out of SUGAR! Laura of NW Confections really outdid herself on this one. I can’t believe how much detail was put into each one. So so pretty!
